Gantry Graphite Horizontal Saw GZ-200X350X40

This gantry-style horizontal saw is designed for graphite machining. It handles large graphite workpieces—up to 2 meters wide, 

3.5 meters long, and 700 millimeters high—with a throat depth (maximum cutting thickness) of 400 millimeters.

We skipped the bells and whistles to focus on three key priorities: precision, speed, and rugged durability.

Precision

Both the saw frame elevation and the worktable travel utilize a "servo motor + ball screw + linear guide" configuration—a drive system comparable to that of CNC machine tools. Actual measurements show an error of ±0.15 mm over a 3-meter worktable travel and an error of ≤0.1 mm over a 500 mm vertical movement. These figures can be verified on-site using a dial indicator.

Speed

The sawing speed ranges from 300 to 1,500 m/min and is continuously adjustable via a variable-frequency drive. It is equipped with a bimetal or carbide band saw blade (specifications: 54 × 1.6 mm), ensuring a narrow kerf and material savings. Powered by an 18.5 kW main motor, it delivers ample power.

Built to Last

1. All welded components undergo thermal aging (annealing) and shot blasting to eliminate internal stress, ensuring long-term dimensional 

stability.

2. The saw wheels feature 7075 aluminum cores with polyurethane coating; they are lighter than iron wheels, ensure smooth power 

transmission, and extend saw blade life.

3. The electrical cabinet is fully sealed and equipped with an industrial air conditioner; isolation is essential because graphite dust is electrically 

conductive.

4. Lead screws and guide rails are fitted with dust-proof covers and an automatic lubrication system (with PLC-controlled timed greasing); 

additionally, the protective housing includes a port for connecting an external dust extraction system.

Operation

Parameters are set via the touchscreen, and the PLC handles automatic execution. The machine features automatic shutdown upon band breakage and automatic hydraulic tensioning (with pressure display). Both the worktable travel and the saw frame lifting/lowering are servo-driven, ensuring precise positioning.
